A lot of companies don’t really care about the colors they put on their site, and that’s a shame. Used adequately, the website colors can have a massive marketing potential. And they can easily entice people to purchase a certain product. But it all comes down to the color schemes and combinations you use. Yet one thing is certain, the results can be among some of the best out there.

What should you do in order to mix the right colors?

Ideally, you want to make sure that you first choose the dominant color for the site and brand. Then you will have to find the best complementary colors that will create a good color scheme. In addition, you will also have to think about the background colors that work for you here. And yes, you have to use the color in all the right places. It’s not enough to have a color scheme, you also have to put that thing to good use.

You need this color to exude certain emotion in the person that sees it. The problem with a lot of companies is that they just don’t think about that. And it’s a shame because the first content and that first emotion that the person has been very important. Of course, that brand identity color needs to be dominant, it needs to stand out and it also has to be very easy to adjust as well.

Red, orange, black and royal blue are great for the impulse shoppers. On the other hand, navy blue and teal are great for companies that want to target shoppers on a budget.
